Apr 2006; This is a start of a tradition at "The People's Church". We started with 1000 eggs (I think), there is a video of this I beleive somewhere maybe I'll find one day and post it. view here.

Dec 2006; The First Baptist Church Freeport 2006 Youth Christmas Party was a blast. We held the party at Coach Waddy's house, click here
Dec 2006; The Youth Christmas Caroling ; view here . (Coach Waddy drove the Red Church Bus and we drove around Freeport stopping at various places spreading Christmas joy... It was a blast!)

Feb 2008; We had a special group visit our church for a time of Testimony and Praise. The group was from Teen Challenge Houston. Click here to see the videos
April 6 2008; Men's Fellowship, at Slack's Pond Brazoria. Great time/fellowship/food/fishing. (what a gift of God. My question is when's the next one! Best time I've had in years!) click here
Sun, Apr 13, 5pm – 8pm; Family Kite Flying Day at our New Bldg location on Hwy 288 Freeport. (It was a family fellowship time and afterwards we prayed over the new bldg.) Click here to view the pictures
Easter Service 2008; click here to view. (Two services, the 9 am we sang ttaditional songs and had a choir, the 11 am service was a contemporary service with choir singing specials. Bro Abel brought a wonderful message for both services and wore a suit during the 9 am <grin>)
Revival Service May 2008; at First United Missionary Baptist Church . The Service was on a thursday night and as you can see it was quite exciting, God really is moving in Freeport! click here to view
VBS Carnival, June 8th 2008; View our carnival pictures, We had Large Inflatables, Snow Cones, Hotdogs and Softdrinks. A real great time together and a whole lotta fun! click here to view
Vacation Bible School 2008; held 5 days in June and "Outrigger Island" as the Theme, FBC registered over a hundred children with more than 20 professions of faith! Thats what its all about, making a different in peoples life's. We had a great time, Pastor Abel probably had the most fun of all of us! He was so hoarse from leading worship, he needed a good rest for Sunday's service. click here to view
