Why "Blended Worship" ?

We use a blended style of worship at First Baptist Church Freeport. BLENDED WORSHIP utilizes all forms of music and worship styles - old and new; historic and contemporary - into a single, unified expression of worship. It eliminates the rigidity that creeps into either contemporary or traditional worship.  It provides for a fuller expression of God’s creativity and it allows a greater number of people to use their gifts.  The service itself becomes a balance of the fresh and the familiar which enhances the experience for both long-time members and newcomers.

First Baptist Church "Praise Team"

Our Praise Team is made up of members from our church of different ages and stages in thier life's. We serve a living God, raising praises to our King with voices, instruments and joyful hearts. We meet each Wednesday at 7:30 pm to fellowship and practice. Each quarter we meet for a time of fellowship at Bro Nato's house. If you would like to get involved, either in helping, playing an instrument or singing come by the church during one of our practices.
