* Sunday School

Come discover the truths of God’s Word as we investigate scripture and see how it applies to our everyday life in this modern world. Everyone is invited to participate, whether you are a member of FBC-Freeport or not. We have classes for the whole family, from babies to senior adults. And what one family member learns directly relates to lessons taught in all our other classes.

* Missions & Outreach

First Baptist Church-Freeport is reaching out beyond our four walls to all of our friends, families and neighbors. Our Outreach ministry is designed to invite people in and take us out into our community with this invitation.We are reaching out beyond our building, lives and traditions to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community and beyound.

* Youth

At First Freeport, our Youth Ministry desires to reach out to students and lead them to a closer relationship with God. We do this though the 5 purposes of fie church and of our lives as Christians… Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, & Evangelism. We wrap all these in our mission statement which in short can be stated: ACCEPT - LEAD - SEND. In its entirety, our purpose statement is...

* To ACCEPT students where they are;

* To LEAD students where God wants them to be;

* To SEND students to where God wants them to go, with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Example. Answering life’s difficult questions with God’s Word, promot-ing a Christ-centered life, and hanging out with other teens seeking the same path.

* Women

The Ladies Ministry of First Baptist Church Freeport provides several opportunities to gather with other ladies and support our church and community. We have many activities for women such as Ladies Night Out, Beth Moore Bible Studies, Luncheons and Baby Showers.

* Men

At FBC-Freeport our Men's ministry is dedicated to providing opportunities for our men to grow spiritually in the likeness of Jesus Christ and to equip them in becoming servant leaders in their family, our church and community.

* Music/Media

Music is an integral part of our worship at First Baptist Freeport. Our Media and Music Ministry consist of many aspects that enhance worship. This ministry helps unites the congregation in praise and worship of our Savior and prepares us for the hearing of God's Word.
